This was actually the first card stock model I've done. Hence the lack of edging and why I wasn't really happy with how it turned out. So I had no problem cutting it apart and burning it =)




















Below you can see I've also modified it so that it can lay relatively flat in my storage boxes.

morganm ,,, you might want to blow out (cut out) the windows because any extensive fire will certainly do that for the most part. You might also cut pieces of paper with some slits in it here and there, wet it and let it warp, pasteing it wherever you want to simulate the blistering a fire also causes.

I do like the pictures of what you have done. Just thought I'd throw out a couple thoughts in case you wanted to take the fire treament further.

Morganm, you might want to cut away some of the plaster while leaving behind the wooden beams. This will give the structure more of a feel of 3-dimensionality, as different components in the building would burn at different rates, and some would be consumed more then others.

I also did another burnt down building. This one is based on one of the free models from WotC. It also features some Hirst Arts castings I did with mold 85 and the pile of books I made myself out of bits of wood, card stock, and markers.

Your getting very good with the burned out buildings and props. I enjoyed seeing the pictures of your layout ... that second building is burned right to the ground almost, looks really good.
