Almost finished! I just have some more trees, Church Yard Wall, few more graves then the interiors to finish up and then its done!



Based off of Anglo Saxon churches in the Oxfordshire area. If you check back through the forums you will see I started this before HellWorks II - Cathedrae Noctis or Cathedrae Noctis: REQUIEM was even announced. Had I known I would have just waited and saved me the trouble.



The walls, except the tower, are mounted on mat board for extra strength.



All the textures are from Shellendrak except the roof which I think comes from Village Works? Can't remember. I am now in the process of re-roofing it with strips cut out for more of a 3D look and to break up the repeated pattern. Not sure if you can tell in the picture below.



The graves and tombs geometry is mine, the textures are from the video game Oblivion



I have still to do a few interiors so I won't show you those yet. Technically this is really close to scale for the miniatures! Because its mounted on mat board you can see the board on the corners. I will print out a corner "patch" of stone work to cover those up. I'm also thinking of making beams for under the roof so its not white.



The entire geometry of the building was designed by myself. More to come as work progresses

After having this a year I've only used it twice

So after my last battle





This is what happened












It has taken me two days just to get this far. But I needed a break and release some creative frustration out.

The tower has now turned into the ruins around the church. City Fight here I come!!
