I agree with you and joydyhee about how to handle the kitbashes.

Is there a way we can make all those missing set badges ourself ... a template or something? So far I am missing the following:

Mayhem Bank, Swampwood Village, HV Streets, HV Sewers,
Mayhem Junkyard, and Wildwood Grove.
There may be more missing that others don't have. I don't know if Atlantis has one or not.

I uploaded my custom badges to my website and host them from there.

As far as getting them into the code: I just use the image tag to insert them into the signature lines of my profile, after the WWG "official" badges.

If you have any problem setting it up, let me know; I'd be glad to help you suss it out.

Would Flickr be an option... or does that lead to copyright issues?

They all could lead to copyright issues if you are using copyrighted material. If not, any file hosting service should suffice. Maybe even the WWG gallery.

I'm going to try to put them in the WWG gallery. I registered but haven't gotten the email activation thing.

Yeah good luck with that. I have been stuck in an endless loop.

I also did not get the email, and when I tried to sign on, it said I was not a member, but when I try to re-up it says I am. It is very frustrating.

I've completely given up waiting for new badges. I mean, how hard can it be to accomplish ... yet the powers that be don't care enough to update them. It is a little thing but after a long while has become irritating.

Hard? Not at all. Time consuming.... Now that’s another question. You would be amazed at the time it takes to make new badges. You have to make them, export them to the right settings, upload them and make them available for everybody. Seems like a little thing, but it easily takes an hour if not more.

Hey Delta. Really sorry for the whole badge scenario falling behind. There's been so much going on that even though these are small, they take a seat waaaaaaaaay at the back of the bus. Its not just the graphic prep but uploading and making them work with the badge generator. It all takes time.

What we ultimately wanted to do was make the system automatic. That's still something in the pipe. Basically, your order history will spawn your badges.

I know how Delta feels, and the problem now is that it's turned what should ideally have been a little something done at the same time as each product was released into a much larger issue now that there are quite a few sets out that need new badges (an hour per badge is not a biggie when you're only doing one; now there are probably double digit sets needing them it's a full day's work). If you can find a way to automate it, Denny, that would be awesome - I'm proud of my collection

I hear you and that was really the drive behind doing the badges in the first place. Its a great way to show pride in ownership!

We'll get back on it as soon as we can find a window. If you guys know anything about WWG its probably that even if we're slow off the draw, we usually hit the heart in the end

...or at least the nearest organ!
