Yes - kudos on the video. I was also surpirsed by the very low cost of the planner and for Dwarven Forge. A nice surprise!

I gave this a try last night and used it to plan out exactly what I needed to make the terrain for my game this weekend. No more making too much of one thing, or not enough of something else!

Grrrrr! I was happily mapping away at a dwarf stronghold with canals - two hours of work, when my laptop decided it was time to update Windows, and shut down. I had it set up to ask first, but apparently the previous update reset Vista to just loading and installing all on it's lonesome. And Microsoft wonders why Vista got such a bad reputation....

Two hours of work, three layers, gone.

At least my newer laptop does not have Vista. (I was using the older, larger, laptop because I also planned on watching a DVD - it has a much larger screen.)

The Auld Grump

Another reason to remember the computer mantra:

"Save Early, Save Often."

There's nothing I despise more than auto update. I have many a memory of it interrupting games to tell me that it was going to restart my system in 2 minutes. Of course, the only option presented to you is to delay, in which it pops up again in 15 minutes. Incredibly aggravating.

Anyway Grump, if you get that layout put back together you should post it to the layout planner forum. So far it's all bug reports and no exciting layouts.

Edit: I've just done a comparison on the one I downloaded a while ago and they are different so it seems like I have downloaded the new version.

Got it, works fine, nice to see the new sets. Treasures and Tombs teaser noted and approved of. Looks smokin' hot! A definite buy for the floor tiles alone!

No time to fiddle around with it just now, but I'm looking forward to doing that later!
