Hi everyone.
I just started another project inspired by the GRIND Mosh Pit game board supplied by Privateer Press for their upcoming Xtreme Grind League. You can find the Mosh Pit print friendly board at .
I thought why not build a 3D arena. I place a few photos of my build in the photo gallery.
Last year I had plan on building a Grind Arena from an article in the NO Quarter magazine, Privateer Press, Issue Ten on how to build you own Grind Arena, but at Gen Con they announced the new board game was coming out later in the year. So I held off my build.
I did buy a Grind ball from their mail order store. I’ve not bought the game yet or played the new board game. But it is in my plans. Hope to complete by next week.
This is a very large game board. Wider than my kitchen table.

PS...Can't wait for you to start hitting the "fantasy" genres. I'd probably be first in line for any of your Mordheim-esque bashes.

Just completed the Grinder Mosh Pit Arena. Added final photos. I think it turned out well. Gives the game extra atmosphere.
Thinking about creating another version using the WWG Hellworks set.

Make this Mosh Pit look like it’s floating over the lava inside a volcano. Also still want to build a large 3-fold display size Grinder two person 3D board arena. Hopefully before the GenCon convention this summer.
Taking a break from building for a few weeks.

I couldn’t help myself. I just completed a lava lake Mosh Pit Grind board. I’ve nick named it, Crash & Burn. Using Privateer Press description (Suspended just above a lake of seething magma, this flame-scorched arena is ground zero for the most brutal sport ever created—Grind!)
I created this version with Matt’s WWG Hellworks set, with a little bashing and over sizing. I also used a half inch Elmer’s’ foam board on this project for the first time to create the floating game board over the lava pit and to strengthen the small side walls.
The board is 44”x 44”, 4” high walls, corner square are 6” high.
