They are some seriously nice minis. Seriously thinking I will pick up some of their Ghouls to be Zombies when I start playing WHFB again. May have to do it sooner just cause they rock.

They do have some zombies in the works, if I recall. The plan is to make the legs and torsos interchangeable with those of the ghouls.
The 'subtle' clue -
One thing that I like is that so far each race has come with a 'pet' - hunting cats for the elves, skeletal dogs for the undead, and bulldogs for the dwarfs. And the dwarf cannon sprue comes with a pair of shoes with the blowed up remains of legs sticking out....

And Mantic is releasing their own wargame in October. My copy is already preordered. It comes with two armies - dwarfs and undead, including the zombies pictured above.
Have fun.

I think that Bob Naismith did a dynamite job on those zombies - some of the 'liveliest' undead that I have seen. They will also work great for Ghouls in Fallout. I especially like the torsoless zombie - just a spine and some legs.

I´ve recently seen these miniatures in the Beast of War Youtube channel.
They have some reviews and unboxing vids.
And they are releasing a game with all that stuff, "Kings of War".
Those zombies look really cool. Maybe some blood will make them more scary.
Yeah, watched the videos as well. The rules sound extremely disappointing. No rallying, once a unit breaks it is removed from play. No effect from damage until the unit breaks.
Sounds like it is overly simplified. If the rules described in the interview are what are released I will likely be using them to start campfires.
Then again, the rules may (and hopefully will) change a great deal before release. And the boxes contain enough that it is worth getting the game, just for the minis. Warlord and WHFB come to mind.
The Auld Grump, I was really hoping that I would like the sound of the game, but instead it makes me want to play something else.

I'll second that, Mr. Grump. Not liking the direction so far. Who knows, the final product could change my mind...but after watching the videos? Not interested anymore.
Slays me that some designers think simple is better... what a crock. Sure kids may buy into it but if they are that "simple" then they definately won't want a game they have to paint the mini's for... they want instant gratification.
The only saving grace from the Vids is at the beginning Alonso states that what they talk about won't be the exact version that "ships".
Still rather disappointing.

In this case, 'simple is better' might be a byproduct of an insanely brief design time.
If you are only allowed six weeks (say) for design before the game moves towards production then simple is the only choice that you have.

Not only that, but if they want to include full rules in every box of minis, it has to be short to keep printing costs down for mass distribution. I mean...it makes SENSE, but it does not make it GOOD. I like War of the Ring. Its simple without being overly simplified.

That is absolutely ludicrous... 6 weeks?!? If the game is already on the market and your updating maybe....
Jeesh, no wonder it sounded disappointing.
I could be wrong - six weeks is sort of pulled out of the aether (or something else beginning with 'A'). Six weeks was, if I remember properly, how long it took Steve Jackson to write and test the rules for The Fantasy Trip: Melee, so I grabbed it as a sort of working example of a ludicrously short development cycle. (The ruleset that would, in the fullness of time, mature into GURPS, I deliberately took the number from a successful ludicrously short development cycle. )
But given that the announced game is due in October then the development cycle is stupidly short, pretty much as a given.

Personally, from what little they have given about the rules, I like em. They sound exactly like the type of rules I'd want for a mass battle game. When they do release them, I'll buy a box of skellies and see if they are what I want. As the rules will be freely given in each box according to their interviews.

As I said, I really don't like what I have heard of their rules. But their skellies are excellent. If you are thinking about doing an army then you may want to look at their army deals in any event - there are substantial savings for getting a lot of the little buggers all at once. Heck, I bought their boxed game, even though I don't like the rules! (I don't feel cheated, either - even if I do use the rules for kindling.)
They have two flavors of skelingtons - Skeletons, lightly armored or unarmored skellies, and Revenants, more heavily armed and armored skellies.
Skeletons
Revenants
Parts are interchangeable between the two sets. I would recommend one of the regiments instead of the troops sets - regiments include the command figures, who look rather nice. And neither photo shows the skeletal hounds (giant rats?) that come with the sets.
There is a fair amount of animation to the figures - they aren't just standing there, it is obvious that they are moving. A bit like the old Citadel skeletons, no big surprise, since I believe Bob Naismith used to sculpt the old Citadel skeletons.

Prolly just the plain ole skellies, can never have enough skellies.
Anyways, the rules will depend on the final version. I like the idea of a unit being a single stand, that all counts as one. I like that if my unit breaks they are dead, I hate rallying rules. I like that they are favoring simplicity. I don't like their movement rules. But I am used to playing skirmish games with very loose rules when it comes to movement.
My main stipulation is that they have a large number of army lists. As I do not intend to play with their figures. I want to break out my Chronopia Elves
Actually by my conversions it's about 78¢US each. I am looking at getting a set of these and the ghouls (an maybes the rest of their undead) to use as Zombies - the Ghoul and Zombie sprue are interchangeable. Needless to say even without the modern trappings they beat the other "cheap" plastic zombies (forget the company name).

Lord Abaddon of Wormwood
Probably the Wargames Factory zombies, which, for the price, aren't bad. These, however, are better.
I am also amused that they plan on how to stretch the number to over seventy zombies....
The Auld Grump - If only the rules sounded as good as the minis....
