how about some dead/leafless trees?

The old cliff system will be completely replaced in an upcoming set.

The simple trees have been shrunk slightly to accomodate robo-cutters, everything else remains pretty much the same with a few additions and some minor graphical tweaks. Optional foamcore bases for trees will also be included.

The only significant difference in the props is the removal of the completely unecessary undersides which really didn't do much to improve stability and served only to make builds more fiddly.

In that case, it is sounding like the new Cliffs will be a good addition and foamcore for trees will be nice.

For all those that just have to see what the new Forest will look like, take a look at the left background promo photo in the Sentinel download thread.

The ground tiles and trees are looking great.

Just one word of warning here.

If you look at the top Sentinel Picture, you will see those are 7x7 gridded tiles. If one of the promo pictures is an old tile, it's very possible there is a mix of old and new stuff in those promo pics. So the take whatever you see with a grain of salt.

That's literally the case, the top pic is from the old set, the bottom ones are from the new.

If the Cliffs are going to work anything like the trees, I want to use the TLX cliffs instead of the old cliffs for the raised section of my SOH build.
