Let me see if I can help.

1) If you are building a dungeon then you currently have a few options.
You've already seen which will allow you to build EXACTLY the size and shape of dungeon you are looking for. However I will warn you that to get this as big as you want, you are going to have to build a LOT of little pieces. It's a very big undertaking.

The TLX system is a faster build and just about as versatile, but you selection of dungeons are limited right now.
Your only real choice right now is with the two boosters ( and ) or (which with the could make a limited standard dungeon.)

There are a few more TLX dungeons in the works, but they are probably a few months away, so if you need something now that's what you have to work with.

Older sets (like or ) can also make good dungeons, and are faster builds, but can not be reconfigured once built.

So it depends on what you want. Personally if you can deal with the Dwarven theme then I would suggest going for the Lost Halls. The TLX system really is a much faster and easier to use build then anything else.

2) How do you make this faster to set up...
If you have the extra pieces, the best way I've found is to have rooms prebuilt somewhere out of the players sight and then to reveal them (or bring them to the table) as they get there. Then you just place the room next to the existing one and boom off you go. But that means you have to have all the pieces for all your sections that night built, there's no reusing pieces in the same session. Particular with Minichunk that's a whole lot of building. Honestly I would guess that you aren't going to have enough pieces for your first few sessions to pull that off.

Of course maybe others around here have other suggestions.

Dungeon is one of the releases slated to be out "soon" so that really depends on when you want to start building. Dungeon of the Stone Speakers could be a decent choice too.

Note that Dungeon will go really well with Garden and Lost Halls obviously goes well with it's expansions.

Just be aware that if you go with a TLX build for this -- and I only use TLX at this point, so take that for what you will -- you *will* have to change the room dimensions.

Which isn't a bad thing. Some of the rooms in WLD are stupid small.

When I first discovered WWG, it was just as TLX was starting. I looked at Streets and Sewers, and thought "that looks great but will take ages to get anywhere" and settled with Gothic Realms which was quick to build.

BUT, I really wish I hadn't!

GR is a lovely little set, but it's a "1 off". The beauty of the TLX stuff is that it can all interchange (see some of the fantastic builds people have made), and that's just going to get better.

So if you can take the hit and don't have 3d scenary, for a couple of weeks, I'd recommend dungeonlinx to "wow" your players, then while they're happy with that for a couple of weeks, start building Halls I'd guess for WLD. They will then be quite literally blown away by it!
