Awesome. Guess I better make sure I finish it then!

So, no real build progress this week but I crossed a few of the Photoshop tasks off my list though I put off the 6" post to post connectors for now. Still, I should have some L and T shaped double-height posts finished by Monday, then I'll do a second 6" double height wall and start on the lift tile after that.

WEEK 3

Urgh, so a slow start to the week. It took me a lot longer to finish the L shaped double height posts than it should have. Things just.. didn't want to line up properly and when they did, they wouldn't line up with the "identical" posts on the same sheet. Grrr.

Anyway, L shaped post is now complete and T shaped post is about half done. With any luck, I should have the T and + shaped posts finished by Wednesday then I can re-assemble my build and add them in (and the double height wall sections).

WEEK 4

Blimey, where did last week go? Anyway, making good progress on the lift tile, which will end up being a 4x4 square lift on a 6x6 tile. Should have that done by Wednesday..

Okay so I finished up the lift today.. need to tweak the colour of the tiles on the lift itself as the full range doesn't show up so well on my printer so it needs a bit more contrast.

Next up, the freestanding (sort of) rails.. because they are needed to complete the look of the lift.

Okay so I just finished the freestanding rails. Due to the size, the special posts are a little fiddly to assemble.. not tricky, but the tabs are quite small. However, these are really designed to be 'permanently' assembled so there's no harm putting down some extra glue on the inside.,



The half-height posts are hollow at the bottom, just like regular posts so if you want the rail to be a bit more stable, you can mount it on one or more anchors. Here we have a 4 inch rail, with one end sitting on an anchor and the other not.

Okay so here's how the lift is supposed to work. You'll have to imagine how it will look with a skeletal structure of supports and post to post connectors above it since I haven't done the 6" ones yet!

Otherwise the lift and rails are done, though I need to make one side on each post slightly smaller than the others because the end result isn't quite square.

WEEK 6

Okay so last week work got super busy and as a result it was a total whitewash on the Titan front. Took a day off work today and finally have the 6" post to post connectors done. Hopefully I'll get time to print them out and make them up before the weekend then I'll see about a build photo..
