I'm not yet a customer, but about to be!

I have some foamboard here, and because my printer doesn't seem to like card very much, I had the plan to use adhesive A4 paper and stick it to the foamboard backing.

So 2 questions:

1. Did anyone read the above and sharply intake breath - it's not too late to stop me making a mistake!

2. If I go ahead, I need to choose the right paper. Avery J8167 Inkjet Labels seemed close to what I need - if I am looking at it right, that's a label which almost fills an A4 page. It's the "almost" part which worries me - am I going to find parts of the print close to the edge? This paper looks like it might have a 5mm margin, which sounds like it might be a lot.

So, advise please - I don't want to come ... unstuck. (pun aside, I would still appreciate assist!)
