OK, so I came up with a different method of doing Squadron stands. I have never been a big fan of the three-way, turn-as-you-go stands that are currently being used. I can keep track of the status on my TOS, and I am mostly a solitaire player so i don't really need to be able to tell the status just by looking at it. So here is what I came up with:

I really only need six of type of Squadron, so to save ink I created some pages with six each of my new-style Squadrons and their bases 'bashed to use the pedestal stands from the Verus Frigates:









Here we have a stand wth the pedestal base attached:



And finally the modified Squadron piece on top of the base and stand:



Very easy, very quick, and I like it more

Great idea. I've never put stat cubes on my ships for the same reason - redundancy is good in manufacturing and nuclear engineering, but I don't want to worry about it while I'm gaming.
