An Elder Red Dragon has plans for the world...let it burn! Assisted by an elite group of Archons and their Azer slaves, he waits at the end of an old Dwarven forgehold for those who might bring him down.

The Burning Run is the fourth in a new series for WorldWorks Games: Scenic Encounters (written for 4th edition D&D), and a first in several regards. Our first high-level offering (designed for 22nd level characters). Our first multiple-encounter scenic encounter (three different encounters in a single pack). Will you face the dragon in his lair?

4E D&D. The Scenic Encounters series is our first foray into that particular setting and market.

Stat blocks are always simple enough to translate over to different rule sets.

I hope to use this in game at some point...it is just a matter of actually playing so that we can level up to that point.

Yup, I'm in the same boat; my girls' characters are just about to hit 3rd level, it will be a while before we are ready for this one...

...which in no way makes me not want to get a hold of this. I would love to see how a three-scene scenic encounter plays out...
