Background.
Tryn was born to a religious society living a nomadic shipboard life among an asteroid belt (Drifter career.) As he went through the course of his life, he had a "falling out" with his religious leaders and fled the only people he had ever known. While still deeply religious, he knows he can't go back home again, and is revelling in the new experiences afforded by such things as planets and fashion. Tryn is young, and hasn't much experience yet!

History: Grew up as the second son of a miner on the Asteroid Z45Delta, where they mined and processed Titanium Ore.
Life there was hard and the work was thankless, with little ability to support mouths that are not working. Because of this from an early age Andros was drafted into the family business of extracting Titanium ore. His Education was conducted with the few other children in between shifts working with his father processing ore to extract Titanium. The process was done on site and so was custom for the low G environment, This taught him the basics of the physical and space science.

Although his father wished him to continue on within the family business he left as soon as he was 18 and joined the Marines to "see the galaxy".
After barely making it through basic training, he settled into a support role as a basic Marine.

His first tour of duty he was assigned to the Mechanic section. In his time there he did not get along well with his commander Lt. Stanic. After one particularly nasty exchange Andros was maliciously assigned by Stanic to assault a very highly defended enemy fortress with the Starfire ground assault group. While the assault failed, in a moment of extreme valor Andros alone assaulted a heavily defended pill box to cover the retreat of two of his fellow marines. In the effort he was wounded but after the full report was logged he received a commendation from the Starfire group and field commission to Lieutenant.
After further review he was awarded a silver star and promoted to Captain, and sent for survival training while he recovered. The fact that he came out of the experience outranking Lt. Stanic did nothing to salve the bitterness between the two of them.

In his second Tour of duty, he requested and was transferred to the Communications division where he excelled and became a favorite of his commander. In short order he was promoted to Force Commander and taught how to fully use the Battle Dress Armor.

During his third tour of duty, Andros's meteoric ride flamed out. He was again commanding the Comm division when two of the officers under his command gave conflicting bombing orders in the operation he was responsible for. In the resulting friendly fire incident he was wounded and as further investigation proceeded was encouraged to resign from the service to provide cover for his superiors.

As part of the agreement to leave the service, he was provided with medical care for all his wounds and permitted to keep his TSA membership and Rifle.

As he recovered, Andros stuck up friendships with the physicians working at the hospital, and decided to train to join them. First they asked that he learn the basics of computers and while he did that was sent to use his already impressive Comm skills at the hospital. While here he Developed a strong relationship with Thandon, one of his patients whom he cared for during his residency.

After completing his residency, he received his MD and was assigned to a top secret research project performing experiments with using cybernetics to reanimating the long dead. During this research he decided to exact revenge on Lt. Stanic by secretly exhuming a number of his family ancestors and subjecting them to the more risky experiments. The research pushed the bonds of known science and gained recognition by his peers. As the study concluded, Andros met a scout named Grainger at a Dojo he attended. Grainger revealed to Andros the true nature of his unsavory research, that Gram Corp was using his research to determine what high risk cybernetics could be illegally be provided on the black market. Andros was horrified and began to turn over evidence to Granger and his friends to stop the scheme. The black market operation was ended soon after but after narrowly avoiding both Lt. Stanic and being roughed up by a Gram Corp agent Andros decided it would be best to spend some time traveling.

Newton Lushenko grew up in the worker estates of a corporate controlled industrial world with no atmosphere. A little below average height, with unremarkable features, Lushenko (as he prefers to be called) always did unexpectedly well at exams. He graduated top in his school for physical science and his parents were delighted when he was promptly recruited to work off-world as a junior researcher on a well respected corporate research team.

Lushenko stayed with the research team for a couple of years before being tempted away to work for a competing organization. He managed this transition with such integrity that he was soon granted clearance to work on high-security projects, and this reputation and associated security access have moved with him wherever he’s worked subsequently.

Lushenko was working on a recently colonised world when a dangerous new virus epidemic broke out. He was instantly recruited to help the team work seeking a cure for the virus, and the success of his work in a field outside his original training gave him to confidence to apply his research and analytical skills in progressively more diverse fields. Not one to stay in one place for too long, Lushneko’s impeccable security clearance and reliable work has made him a useful analyst and middle manager on confidential projects. While not particularly memorable socially, Lushenko has nevertheless maintained a range of contacts from the different fields in which he has worked.

Lushenko is currently taking an extended sabbatical; using this time to travel, often on the Scout ship in which he holds a share (an unusual but not unprecedented arrangement). He supplements his funds by taking whatever short term work attracts his interest.

Background.

Born to undocumented parents on Gram, in the Sword World Subsector of the Spinward marches, if Grainger ever had a first name it has been long lost or forgotten, and he prefers it that way.

Not particularly strong, and naturally a loner, Grainger tended to spend his time studying and thinking rather than running with the various street gangs and clans. he did however strike up an unlikely friendship and eventual partnership with a Bodychop Doc/engineer by the name of Doc Herault, and his natural intelligence led to him picking up the basics of the cybernetics trade in his teenage years. One of Doc's clients that grainger grew particullarly close to was an old scout, Karn Rico, who fascinated the young grainger with tales from his career whilst in the chopshop for his regular "tune up" (not needed truth to tell, but the old timer enjoyed the company of Grainger and the Doc as much as Grainger enjoyed his)

Encouraged by both Doc and Rico, Grainger, was accepted into the IISS (Imperial Interstellar Scout Service ) and volunteered as soon as qualified for the Imperial Grand Survey (a quiet word to the powers that be from an ex, and very highly regarded, scout may or may not have had anthing to do with his quick acceptance and assignment) Shaking free from his past, grainger excelled in the Scout service.

His first tour found him pushing out along the fringes of known space, becomimg more comfortable in alien societies, and strange worlds, than he ever was on his home world of Gram, and found close friends easier to come by amongst the Alien worlds than ever amid his home planetary peers. (Alien Contact gained.)

His familiarty and ease amongst the alien worlds led to his second term being dedicated to courier and diplomatic services amongst them along the fringe. He spent time as the personal Ship pilot of a few Imperial diplomats and sector coordinators, who found his straight forward honest opinions of the worlds and races they dealt with to be invaluable. A valuable Imperial Ally was gained.

Newly promoted to Senior Scout, for the first time he was assigned to the inner systems, doing small errands of a discrete nature for his higher placed friends. on a tight schedule amongst some less well supported worlds he learned again the value of self sufficiency, becoming well versed in looking after himself and his gear.

His final term in the Scout Service saw him joining forces with Doc Herault and Karn Rico in thwarting a major Gram corporation, that was using the Scout service as cover for a bootleg Cybernetics operation between Gram and the fringe worlds. After which operation it was deemed best for the Service and for Grainger that he retire to his own ventures, whilst events became memoies in more populated regions. He was well compensated with the use of a type S Scoutship, and his (never fired in anger) Service Gauss Pistol, for his role in the operation.

Well, my internet problems turned out to be a little more problematic than i anticipated...I apologies for holding and messing things up folks..circumstances well and truly got out of my control

Anyway, back now...and with a lot of catching up to do...I shall be reading the threads and will jump in as soon as I can...on a skim through it seems I shall catch up pretty quickly.
