Very monochromatic art deco. It does share some features in common with WW2 Nazi Germany architecture. This building would be at home in any pulp era metropolis. Look forward to the release.

I am seeing 2 different size buildings int he promo. Will they be released separately like the necroblock and clock tower or as a set?

Not two buildings, just one set of walls dedicated to ground level and one for upper stories.

I dig Matts work a lot, I have the Hell Works 3 space ship model of his. Used some props in my Titan build out, plan on using some more of that model as well as Pual S.'s First Light stuff. -D²

In my opinion, if we add weapons emplacement to the SwiftScenics system; the buildings were perfect for Warhammer 40.000 planetstrike or city fight game.

I wasnt going to use paper terrain for my 40k table , but now I think I have just changed my mind .
It's funny how a small thing like a bridge between two square building's makes all the difference . Consider this bought on release.

Looks like you worked out the kink in the bridge system. Looks like would be a clean fit with Necro also. Is the bridge all paper or did you need to reinforce with foamcore?

I hope to get some of these printed off tonight, and worked on during my savage worlds game for my Wednesday night game, These along with my Necro should make for a very nice city....

are the grids on the roofs just 1" like Necroblock or are there 1.5" grids available

Part of the Swift Scenics mandate is to keep things as simple as possible for the novice builder/builder in a hurry. That means finding creative ways to limit additional requirements like foamcore.

But if you're worried about the strength of it, during development I loaded it up with lead minis (not pewter, LEAD) and it held just fine.



No but given that it's not really expandable (like say TLX tiles) you're basically confined to areas of either 3"x3" or 6"x6".

Mayhem Coporate + Necroblock + Titan I + Titan II + Titan Streets = Awesome Science Fiction City! Can't wait to get started!

Heh - you need to brush up on your Gothic roots - the Nazis were one of the roots for some of the nastier branches of the Goth look and outlook. What the Nazis managed to do to art nouveau and art deco....

Bought it, downloaded it, drooled over it...very nice! I'm thinking the Necroblock gargoyles wouldn't look too out of place here.

A couple of suggestions for future Swiftscenic releases. Would it be possible to get one or two story buildings in there as well as the three story ones, or is that more of a kit bash idea?
And could we get the old Bits of Mayhem Hollywood Flats in Swiftscenic form? The old 7" by 7" footprint doesn't go to well with the new TLX Mayhem.

Hmmm... in my mind's eye a sandbag wall would be a simple build, but are my graphics skills up to it? Hmmm...

This set is really great like ! Well, any other WWG set, in fact...
Whereas this is my first post, I can't say I'm really new to WWG, as I lurk (and buy) here since the original Streets of Mayhem (not the TLX one, the one from 2005).

So first of all, hello to everyone. you may not know me, but I know you . And once again, I love WWG products !

But, what finally decided me to write in this forum instead of just reading it, is that I'm a Clix player, and I'm slightly disappointed that swift scenics products are not fully 1,5" compatible. That's not a big deal, mind you. It took me about one hour to create my own version of Corporate roofs, using Mayhem PD set.

As for Necroblock, this was beyond my skills, so I will have to live with it... It could have been a good idea to use wooden planks and pipes to create a "natural" 1,5" grid on top of the 1" tiles

This being said, WWG products are still instant buy for me so no big deal, but if future products could be more 1,5" friendly (and I'm longing for a swift scenic version of Titan, by the way).

As I'm not willing to finish on a complaint, just continue the hard work guys, and I may post pictures of our clix games

Can you do a "physical Kit bash"?

Just use the lines that work, ever other one if my memory of clixs games is right, and make them a bit darker with a marker, can be the same marker you edge with, and then put in a new line between them, halfway through the space to get 2 1.5 out of 3inchs instead of 3 1inch squares? or will it just look too bad?

As a note the GSD files for the Balconies are missing a few fold lines, cuts are fine but it is missing a few folds.
