Heh, I am old enough to remember Astroboy, they first anime to make it to the US, along with Kimba... (As a side note, I hear people complaining that The Lion King was a rip off of Kimba, but as a kid I realized that Kimba was a rip off of Bambi...substitute King of the Jungle for King of the Forest. (Some of the lines used in the first episode of Kimba are identical to those used in identical situations in Bambi.)

Saw Scooby Doo as a first run, and took strange pleasure in spoiling the ending for my siblings... (It's a guy in a costume! It was always a guy in a costume.)

Whoops, for some reason I thought that I was on the UM thread, sorry...

For First Light I definitely want space station stuff... The only SF game on my agenda (not counting steampunk) is B5, and ships in the B5 universe tend to be big. (Or not have jump drives, and so are limited to using fixed gates.)

A lot of this expansion looks like it is taking that direction!

Brave Starr...that was great...a sci-fi western. Reminds me of Black Star as well...about some subteranean demon...thingies.

Has anyone thought of a way to do a bubbled dome with transparencies? Say, maybe a slight cone shape, with support beams, and a round clear piece in the middle? Say, like a ?

And the horrible thing is, I recognize all of the above listed, anyone recal DangerMouse. Astroboy was one of my favorite flicks, used to watch it religiously. I have a friend who's been downloading most of the above mentioned flicks for his kids to watch. His favorite cartoon ever was Gargoyles, mine... not sure yet, been watching them since I was a kid, and havn't stopped to this day. Anime may dominate my current interests, but I am still a big fan of all my old favorites.

O.K. I promise not to hijack this thread anymore without ideas for future expansions, just couldn't think of one atm !

in the UK we have Amera - . Not incredibly strong or detailed, but ideal if you want a big layout very cheaply.

Cutting the windows out of the ruins is a pain in the @ss though.
