I'm using GIMP 2.6
Still wholey new at this and also learning the GIMP to do a design of a 15mm (! - yes I've seen a couple of old postings) 3D starship for TRAVELLER(TM) [dang, those 1x1 half-inch square rooms are TINY!]. [Did anyone ever post photos of those projects?]

...Huh!... Okay I got it open. Yes, my GIMP is also 2.6.11 and I've got Windows 7, too. Wierd that clicking directly on the file then using "Open file with..." DID NOT work - but going into GIMP then opening the file from there DID.

Refering to the other project, I've created an IRIS-valve Door graphic the hard way - created several overlapping circles, then erased the parts not needed... eventually I'll learn how to make a transparent background. Anway, was going to enclose my 'dirty' graphic for the 'slide-up' portion of the doorway, but couldn't figure out how to copy it onto here... later I guess.
