Hey Denny!

CaveWorks is very cool! I just did the rope bridge a couple of days ago and it turned out great!

One of the things I was kind of hoping for in caveworks is angled terrain, rocks/boulders and the like. Such things would be useful props, especially if the larger ones were stackable.

There is a an interesting Guard Tower paper model here:

Check out the base of the Tower; it consists of angled hill terrain that looks pretty good when printed out.

What about Lava falls tiles? Also, what about a small volcano model? Something like 6 sides with a small flat top. Maybe withsome kind of small support structure underneath to give it more support. Kinda like this, but maybe flatter:

crevice tile that is 3 parts..

side parts (2) and a middle part (1).. So that we can have short or loooooooooooong crevice.

Just like there's a Dungeon Entrance model in VillageWorks, there should be a Cave Entrance model (maybe in LandscapeWorks?). I've been using one of the large cave walls with the tunnel in it to represent a cave entrance, but the graphics on it look more like a cave interior than exterior. Perhaps a small grey/brown hill with grass on it and boulders with a trail leading into a brown cave entrance? Perhaps the outside of the cave can be marked by optional skulls on pikes or other such grim "stay out!" reminders! :-)

You know, I really like that idea - the dungeon entrance is really classy, and a cave mouth would be great! Maybe even some potholes or similar for that 'Bruce Wayne falling into cave full of bats' scenario....

Caveworks: Fire and Ice

Lava tubes, ice-covered walls and floors, ice-choked rivers, various sizes of fire, etc.
