What kind of things would add a horror edge to a western town?

Abandoned Mine
Blood soaked house on the prairie
weird travelling carnival
weird travelling snakeoil salesman with wagon of elixers
A ghost town (equivalent of mayhem destroyed in this setting)
Hanging tree
little church with the grave markers of folks that were just travelling through.

It always sounded scary enough, whether it was wagons being led through hostile terrain by unscrupulous guides, little ranches being wiped out by the competition or small towns striving to make a living without much in the way of protection. There's a lot of horror already built in.

Day four of cutting out paper buffalo... 10 thousand and one.... done... ten thousand and two...done.. only two hundred thousand to go... ten thousand and three...

Now this looks interesting. Ideally it would be able to create both regular and horror themes, much like Celestus Pravatis did with science fiction. And maybe a bit of steampunk as well.

Indian Village: teepees, hide tanning racks, etc.

Populace Standees addition [just as for "The Maiden"] - might need 2 volumes here, one for the "good guys" and one for the Indians, etc. - unless its a bigger set: "20" seems like a small number.

Hey Denny, the font for the Dead Fall title, is that something you came up with? I don't recognize it but like it very much!

The font that the 'Caps' and 'Subtitle' looks familiar but I can't immediately place it. I probably saw it (or something similar) on www.dafont.com recently. The 'ead all' letting seems like a stock 'western' font, of which there are a bagillion varieties, though "Insane Rodeo" seems closest ( http://www.dafont.com/ifc-insane-rodeo.font ) .
