just wounderd if roll arena requires foam board or if its suggested to use it as I don't see it mentioned in the instructions i downloaded from the roll arena page and if it does it'll have to wait till mine arrives off of ebay

You don't need it, but I used mat board to support the floor of the rolling section. You could just triple layer some card stock there instead.

I keep meaning to build mine. I even have it printed. I just keep getting sidetracked with other projects. Please post picture of yours (maybe even in progress shots) and hopefully it will motivate me.

I used the triple-card stock method for the floor, and the extra circles (inserts), but opted for a piece of foamboard for the very bottom, just for aesthetics. I'll post a picture later.

The only reinforcement I did to my 110 cardstock for the arena was to use the side of a cereal box as the subfloor for the arena floor and box bottom.

just finished my roll arena and it looks pretty good i reinforced the triple card tray underneath and removed part of the 2 back blocks so it fits nicely.The only problem it seems to have is the tight fit on the 3 card tray something ill probably fix by trying to put a card rail on it or something.

Overall im really happy with it pictures to come soon.
i haven't done in progress shots because i was a little short on time so itll just be the finished arena (or mostly finished I need to edge it when my pen's finally arrive)

I used foamcore for the bottom of the arena, just because I had it handy. If I would have had the table saw set up, I probably would use hardboard. I MAY use hardboard for the sides, and slightly redesign it,a s I don't like the way the eight side and corner pieces pieces all fit together.
