I created these some time ago and submitted them before the change in Kitbash Submissions. I am resurrecting these as I know there are people out there who want them.

Himmelvale Streets Angled Walls!

Based on the angled walls and posts from the Himmelvale Sewers set, with new skins of the Himmelvale walls, these files are 100% robocutter friendly. This set includes

• 4.24" Angled Walls, in both regular and anti-warp formats, with 'sandstone' stone backed alcove skins.
• 4.24" Angled Walls, in both regular and anti-warp formats, with 'sandstone' open arch skins.
• 8.48" Angled Walls, in both regular and anti-warp formats, with 'sandstone' stone backed alcove skils.
• 5-way posts
• 8way posts

I have other pictures of the kitbash in action, but they contain other kitbashes, as well as the regular Himmelvale walls, posts and tiles. I will attempt to get a better picture of just what is contained in this bash by the end of the week.

Since you have some already built... Want to look at maybe bashing some angled floors that could attach on top of these, and some railings that would fit along the angled edge?

And for the extra cool factor, how about making some of the curved walls, a semi-circle tile, and somehow a way to put railings up on the tile? Maybe just incorporate the railings as part of the curved wall...

Ooh. If you don't do the curved walls and floor, I will. I hope it turns out as neat as what my brain is showing me right now...

Are there angled/curved tiles or railings in another set I could base them off of?

I could have sworn that such a thing exists, but I can't seem to find it right now. Hopefully it isn't my imagination playing tricks on me.

Lair of the Dragon God and the Oubliet of Peril both have curved walls. Not sure if there are any others.

Don't think curved rails have hit TLX yet. The shaped tile in Hinterland: Cliffs (provided with corresponding walls) are the nearest TLX seems to have got to curved tiles so far. Given the challenges involved in wrapping a tile edge around a curved piece of foamcore, can see why Matt went the way he did with the Hinterland: Cliffs - seems like a decent compromise (good result with much less effort and opportunity for errors).

I'm going to follow the cues of the cliffs set. I've chopped up a 6" tile to be a 1/4 circle, and 6" and hallway tiles into half-circles. Tonight, I hope to make a skirt to edge the rounded side. That should complete the tile portion. Assuming I manage to get that done, then by the weekend I should be able to whip up curved walls that have built-in railings.

The sad thing is, when I built my Streets tiles, I went all anchorless. Now I've got to go back and put anchors on them all... I'm getting good at it though. I did the same thing with my Forest tiles, not thinking that the anchors would be useful for the Cliffs!

Angled tiles and rails should be easy enough. Curved, more difficult. I just ask if tsomething like this exists in another set as it is infinitely easier to take the existing and reskin than it is to create completely new. Not so much a kitbash, as it is creation of new content.

Don't be too upset. Reviewers are also learning the process, and refining it. That's the inconvenient of being one of the firsts...

Glad to see you resubmitting this. Thank you for the patience, as we are getting used to the process just as much as you guys are (as Akmor said). We will look over the updates and proceed from there.

@mrproteau - far easier to throw a top layer of "glue here" white boxes onto the image pile than having to extend/create the terrain to fill-in a white box that was there to begin with. So for my money, you are doing it in the right order. (This from a GIMPer-in-progress.)

Reading all these posts about people making these kit bashes, make s me realize how grateful I am for all the work you people put in for the benefit of our group. You guys rock, and we owe you a debt of gratitude. Just wanted you all to know how much we appreciate your work.

Absolutely!

One day I'll get round to learning GIMP etc. - until then, I'll just stay immensely grateful to you guys. (And even when I do start to do these myself I'll still be immensely grateful both for how you guys do it so much better, and for the workload you put into providing all those piece I'll never even think of, let alone do myself.)

The final version of this went off to Talae and his cohorts this morning. I hope it makes this month's cut.
