I wanted to post some pics of my nearly completed Roll Arena for awhile now, but I had a few issues:

* I glued the front bottom support parts upside-down (well, I noticed the one after I had 2 tabs glued down and after a few muttered expletives, decided to do the 2nd one oriented the same way, so it might look like I did this on purpose )

* a couple of the walls were not-quite-plumb and had some exposed inside edges

* The 3-section drawer. Tight. Very tight; so tight it was nearly stuck inside and I feared ripping it apart trying to pull it out.

So I thought I would start over. Here are the results:



^^ I used mat board for the top & bottom floor areas, as well as the triangular corner tops; I like the extra height it provides for the corners.



^^ One of the side drawers, and inserted into the arena.



^^ The infamous Triple-Section-Drawer. I printed it at 95% so it would fit better. Now it slides in very easily. In fact, it's maybe a bit TOO small I'll probably add some rails inside the center space some day. But not today



^^ And there. All finished (well, except for maybe the rails for the center drawer). Now to print out some cards .. after I decide what I will use them for

nice build I assumed it needed reinforcing and probably lots of protective spray once finished

Surprisingly, mine has not need any protective spray and I do use it.

I built mine and the center drawer kept catching inside. Ill have to reprint at 98% and see if it fits better. Want to use it for my Malifaux.

I always spray my printed sheets before cutting & gluing; 2 coats of matte clear coat. Makes the paper stiffer and keeps the ink from smearing. The only thing I reinforced was the bottom of the triple drawer, just a single sheet of card stock on the very bottom. Aside from the mat board for the floors and the top triangle parts, it was all regular card stock.
