Back when I was growing up in Indiana, there was a restaurant chain called "Burger Chef". At one time, it was the #2 fast food place in the world, lagging behind only McDonald's. It was the first place to give us the salad bar, the kids' meal, the drive-thru, soft-serve ice cream and shakes, flame-broiled burgers, and a bit of other innovations.

And then they went to General Foods to get funding for east-coast expansion and prompty went away and became Hardees and Carls' Junior, much to the chargin of anyone who knows what a hamburger should taste like!

This kitbash is based once-again on Venka's, but uses some pieces from my other 'fast food' stalls as well. This is based on the 1960s-1970s look of the restaurant, with slightly more modern menu boards. Came out fairly well, and adds that much-needed burger joint to the Mayhem Mall.

These are the unique props for Beefy Chef. I decided to skip the salad bar this time and focus on the flame broiler (a slight redeco of the pizza oven from Spegnoli's) and the soft-serve machine. The freezer, range, and cash register has to come from the main set, of course...

I like the idea behind this. A proper fast-food joint is definitely something that is missing for Mayhem City.

I shall follow this WIP with intent to get. Looks good mate.
