I did not pin this movie as campy, but mainly because it is a silent flick so things tend to be exaggerated to make up for lack of speech. In a speaking movie, it might be so.

As to HPL's writings, I recommend reading through some. You can even do so for free here at the HPL Archive.

I'm inclined to believe it's a Malifaux product based on the Rising Powers book. Most of the important plot information in that particular tome occurred in a sewer, and involved horrible powers rising.

Logos, titles and product lines match.

As for the title of the thread ... I thing the RISE refers to the rise of the Underdark from WotC. We do see a bit of spider webs in the picture.

You have no idea how badly I've wanted to do that for you over the past couple months! I mean, I've been texturing, prototyping and test building day and night for the last 3 or 4 months. The real buzzkill there is manufacturing and the wildcard issues that sometimes come up there. Until you're 100% sure the factory is capable of this or that, you can't lock it in and spill the beans.

Much closer now though. We've got the factory looking things over and once we have a couple more assurances we should be able to spill a bit more

I'd like to do that but I've found that I just keep my budget a little lower than what she spends on clothes each month and she stops arguing immediately.

Of course she still calls my gaming materials silly toys.

Just tell your wives that "if it wasnt for my hobby I would be out down the pub/bars and clubs till early morning spending all my money getting drunk and oggling at half-naked women".

She should soon realise (as my wife does) that if I'm playing my hobby, she knows where I am and can keep check on me.

Of cause if you game AND go out clubbing saying this might not be a good idea =))

I don't envy you having to deal with the maufacturing issues. That is a huge buzzkill.
