Ah, this was an interesting build and learning experience. I really wanted to try the transparencies out with this one, but neither the printer nor the transparency sheets I had were remotely up to the job. This is probably the main reason there are so few of them made... the 'inkjet' transparency paper is a fortune, and it's insanely hard to justify. Sadly, this killed any chance of making one key part of the set - the parrot cage. So I had to go on without it.

Again, I knocked down the size of the store from 7x9 to 6x6, to put it to the size of TLX builds. This cost a couple of the stock shelves, but there was enough room for nearly everything else - if just a bit cramped. The fishtank and rodent cages lost a little bit without the transparency windows, but I kept the 'insert' build to see how they were put together...

Probably the most complex build of the series so far, even without the transparencies. A lot of parts and a couple of pieces (like the book rack) with some bad geometry. Nothing too drastic, but not exactly a light project for the mall, either...

This is one of my favorites. Maybe because of the cat. Maybe because there's a lot of green.

If it feels too cramped for you, can you go for 6x9 instead of 6x6? That'll still be TLX-compatible, and let you spread out closer to the original 7x9 size you mentioned.
