that kickstarter bundle (vampire level) is pretty tempting!

i wonder how i could add the 10 extra bucks for the giants after my initial pledge though

You will receive an email from Reaper asking about address and any options that you bought. Once you pledge, you can always go back and monkey with it until the KS is over. Maybe a little later as well, I'm not so sure about that.

I usually wait until the Kickstarter is further along, but I knew I'd buy this one anyway so I went ahead and Vampired it.

I missed the +$10 option, so I'll have to go back in at some point and level up everything (the kickstarter is clearly going a lot higher).

When I saw this thread my heart jumped WWG are doing a Kickstarter project!! Yes I need to fund this Now. It was a little disappointing so see it was not the case.

But perhaps they are just putting the feelers out, maybe something to do with the new TBA projects?

I think Kickstarter would be an excellent way to speed up production of the teraclips products,
Something similar as to what Reaper are doing with there bones line.

The Undead Horde (new zombies and skeletons) have been added to the Vampire level without adding an option.

Looks like Vampire is the way to go!

The next $10 addon Option is pretty exciting -

Not adding this one - I already have him in metal - a pretty danged decent dragon! (I use black and green dragons more than all the others put together.)

If I remember properly Denny is looking at Indiegogo.com - so something very much akin to a Kickstart is a possibility.

Also, as I think was mentioned a few pages back, Indiegogo allows partial funding of projects, so if they fall a bit short they can still press on ahead.

I remember, back in the day, when distributors carried everybody's products, and all of them. As a result the game companies avoided doing their own sales and distribution.

Then Alliance gobbled up most of the distributors and started picking and choosing product....

For some reason game companies decided to start selling online directly.

Greenfield.
Chessex.
Armory.
Wargames West.

All gone or folded into Alliance.

Kickstrter seems to be taking their place in allowing more marginal products to be manufactured. (Or even major projects - OGRE comes to mind.... Bones may qualify as well.)

Handling your own distribution as a publisher is definitely hard, but it avoids going bankrupt at the crazy rates distributors request.

Kickstarter and Indiegogo are great tools for getting things people want published, but could never raise the capitol for on their own - AND allows for marketing and determining interest in a product before it ever gets manufactured.

I like what Reaper has been doing with giants lately- less human. more primal, elemental. I have all four of those giants in metal. (Well, the male frost giant is mostly resin, actually.)

For those that think that the female giant's face looks... odd - she is wearing a mask.

Holy heck those are amazing! Really loving the giants. May end up with the $100 plus a few add-ons. WOW.

Yeah, it is looking... painful. I could easily add $50 to the Vampire level, even with just the three Options already shown. (Giant, giant, dragon, dragon, dragon!)

Will be one of the later Stretch Goals - he was shown in the video, and is a decent match for one of the tombstones....

grump may i ask one thing if u have already painted something of the bones line?
they can be really painted without primer?

it acts exactly like priming in white?
better if i wash them with some soap like resin miniatures to remove the handling grease?

Grump, just watched the video and you are right. There he is. I don't know how I'm getting out of this without just about every add-on. The variety here is just...astounding. For the price its just impossible to pass on. I haven't bought RPG minis in years but this will be changing that.

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but . There are some grumpy looking barbarians....

The good news is that likely means that the dwarfs will be stumping along shortly... I mean stoutly... valiantly, yes, that's it! valiantly! (I really am more of a dwarf person than an elf person.)

The Reaper kickstarter is making me want to invest in it. Most of the ones I've seen in the past really haven't interested me.

That is kind of sad - three times I have told people about the Bones Kickstarter, then asked if they wanted to share a Pledge with me....

All three times they have decided that they wanted it all! Typically with another $60 of options....
