I've been fiddling around a little with Garden tiles. For starters, I took the tiles with water and covered the "sandy" portions with grass, since I haven't pulled off many ways to integrate those sandy bits with anything else... I'll probably try to make more tiles with sandy bits for just that reason!

Anyway, here's an example of an additional water tile that should connect right up to the existing tiles:



My only gripe with the Garden set is the lack of anchorless tiles... It really makes a kitbasher have to go the extra mile...

I'm just starting to play with these tiles. If there's something in particular someone would like to see, feel free to ask for it.

You mean other then the ones I put out in this kitbash right?

Yeah. Those were just the 6" grass and gravel tiles, no? It's a start, but there are a LOT of other tiles... And, that kitbash only had gridless versions...

I might bite the bullet and do all the tiles at some point (at least I wouldn't have to make the anchored versions! lol) I need to free up dropbox space first!

I can't do it while at work, but if I can find a free evening at home, I want to try to make a flat-folding, 3d version of the large waterfall wall from the set. If the fold-flat version doesn't work out well, I'll make a solid piece that can just be glued onto the original wall piece. I think it'd look cooler in 3d!

Instead of gluing, is there a way to have some sort of eartab to slip over the top of the waterfall wall? You may not have to work with a slot, just a 'slip-over' to provide stability and let it hang down resting on the floor below. Perhaps the texture of the eartab above the wall top could be mist from the falling water... just thinking.

Oh that's right... I forgot that I never got back to finish up the other tiles in that set... I only did what I needed at the time.
