Wow, that paint is pure awesome!

Holy acrylic batman, Now that is one impressive paint job.
I wish I could paint 1/4 as well.

I wish that he was a less undead looking sculpt. It makes him even more niche. Also, I think that this paint job needs more undead decay to do the sculpt justice.

I see your point and have also interacted with many animals at various states of decay as a science teacher. It doesn't change my mind though. I was just meaning that if I were to paint it, I would likely play up the decay much more...despite that limiting it's versatility at the table.

The Tablesmith online kickstarter just added a developer API and personal/favorite tables.

It has a little over a week to go, and more than 60% funding to go. So if you're at all interested, please go and support it.

I love Tablesmith -- it's a very powerful and easy generator. I would love to see it have an open (and free) API that anyone can use.

Well, GW is messing with some more people. I believe this company was on Kickstarter not too long ago...





I mean c'mon! GW will never do anything remotely to do with this lizard man. It is similar, but completely obscure. I have never seen the GW pic before personally. This is getting outta hand.

It's the ammo belt that's the problem - on a figure like that it's just too similar. Then there's details like the flap below the jaw. Looks like GW has the high ground on this one.

Except that GW doesn't have a trademark on ammo belts. They also talk about the pose, which is clearly a lunging pose on the model, and a wall walking pose on the art. They also insist that the company couldnt even give away the models for free if they wanted to. Where do they get off on that? And how do they demand a physical mold on a as yet unproven IP infringement? Doesn't every lizard have a disc shaped membrane behind there eyes? I could've sworn that was a lizards ear. Or did I get my biology wrong?

And doesn't WotC have a copywrite on armed lizard men anyway? Coulda sworn they cornered the humanoid reptilian market years ago.

This one has... a better basis than most of their suits.

Much better than going after Spot the Space Marine at any rate.

Looks like Wayland Games is going to be - GW trying to treat them as a competitor has turned them into a competitor.

All I ordered was a box of jealousy, and it arrived well ahead of any of the minis people are now getting.

It´s one Vampire, all paints and extra skeletons, I still hate myself for not getting the addons. Cthulhu and the Dragon in particular.

I may have to take a day or two off of work when mine arrives...

Not sure where this will end up, but I am SO tempted to jump in. At under $1 a mini, it seems like a steal. (currently at 112 minis at the $100 pledge level)

Yeah i was looking at this one too, but decided to pass on it, style wise not that interested and I have loads of minis nothing is jumping out at me as Oh i need one...
