If it's any consolation, we had a parcel leave Mississauga go to Vancouver (40hr drive away) and come back in order to be delivered.

We live 1hr drive away from Mississauga... took 3 days. #-o

There is no accounting for the logic in shipping sometimes.

Got my shipment notification last night after I left work and headed to my Deadlands game. The Bones and a swap out of sophie for two other things (mentioned aways back) had his in hand, got to handle them not knowing mine had shipped. He didn't have anything big...

The quality is about what i expected, can't wait to see mrymgear, I have to get him painted up soon to through at my Deadlands group.... a steampowered dragon, just says Deadlands to me...

Should have my order by next weeks game, will come in on tuesday and can unbag everything i need and have the stuff for the other player who added to my order... yeah!

There are two others in my group with pledges. One has been too busy to tell me(the one with the least add ons) and the other got his notification yesterday for his 9 items. I am anxiously waiting for my 12 items to be sent out, but my guess is early next week...

Apparently there is a UPS air-hub in Louisville, either that or a very motivated driver got hold of the package, "I've got to get these Bones to Alaska!"

I wish I could just go sit on the front steps of my house today and wait.

Oh... that heavy box had more in it than I thought - I totally spaced out on the fact I had ordered paint sets! So there are 11 add-ons with the Vampire set not just the 7 I remembered - 4 of them wet stuff! So you other guys with 'slightly' larger orders: don't fret, hang on there baby!

Got home last night and they were all there waiting for me-

The plastic is a bit softer than I thought and a few things got warped in shipping (bottom center)-

So I need to study up on correcting the warps in the soft plastic. Overall I'm quite delighted.

You will want to boil the warped ones for 1-3 minutes or so, depending on thickness of the model (the goal is to get to core temp heated all the way).

Then soak the mini in an ice-bath for a similar time frame (the goal is to get all the heat out of the core).

Don't set the mini on the heat source and instead use tongs or something.

This will cause a "factory reset." Follow up with a soap/water wash, since it will activate some residue.

If you want a factory rest, most of the time with Bones you won't even have to position them. They will just 'bounce back' when you put them in the ice bath.

Yeah, after I finally started looking at my figures and I found out that some of mine were bent too. I'll have to try the shock technique as well but will use the double boiler and towel method!

Yeah, I would be leery of bringing the water to a boil with my minis in there. Almost to a boil maybe. And a sieve might be the way to remove them. Tongs get hot and just a little too much pressure and you got a new mini.
