It's been a while since anyone posted in here and maybe I missed something in the other forums, but some more InteriorWorks would be great. We all want more props, furniture, boxes, layouts, etc etc. I hope there's more coming! Castles & Keeps and Pubs & Inns are two of my favorites!

Ok after out fitting some houses that I built with CW:U I came to the conclusion that we need chimmies and fireplaces that can be placed into a corner - a fireplace that slides into a 90 degree corner and the flames face the center of the room.

The fireplaces I have are all good, its just they sit against flat walls and don't look as good pushed into a corner.

Yes I can live without this option - I just thought that its an idea that might work.

That would be a smidge...how shall I put this delicately... insane? Might I suggest cutting a drinking straw up instead.

Having a few cups at the bar and maybe on the tables would be cool.

I thought that making the bowl on the tray would be an easy start to make more 3d.

HeroQuest came with 3d props. And there is a table with bottles and cups on it. Might be a good example for scale. BoardGameGeek has some photos of this too.

1/8 of an inch? Ain't seen a good old fashioned jack have you? The standard was a foot tall, which makes them about 1/5 of an inch. (A jack is a big mug made from leather, some had multiple handles and the people at the table would share it amongst themselves, pulling it around in a circle.) Yards of ale were not unheard of (a mug for coachmen, a yard long so that it could be easily handed up tp the driver.)

Chilled and foamy are not apt descriptions of the warm, flat beer common to medieval taverns. Small beer was nasty! Vinegar worms were not an uncommon complaint. Barrels were improperly sealed, and if the tavern keeper cheapened the beer with water than it often spoiled... but was served anyway. One of the reason that monastaries got into the brewing business was that people could trust their product, unlike a lot of the local brews.

Cider was generally a safer drink, the acidic apple juice being less prone to spoiling. Rough cider was made by dropping a leg of mutton into the barrel with the cider, then sealing the keg. When the keg is opened all that remains of the mutton is the bone. Then there is Dead Dog Cider... the sad thing is that they still remember the name of the dog...
