(For GR/IW:CK) Were you meaning clip on wall sections as you go. You'd need a nice sized area for placement. Or did you mean to actually cut and mount a set of rooms and passages to floor tiles?

The main problem I see with this is the fact that the squares are 1" and the walls make a tight fit. WHQ has you placing all kinds of models at a time when you stumble across a monster event. And the rooms are packed. On the other hand though smaller squares would/could mean largerrooms(more squares) that (roughly) take up the same amount of space that WHQ tiles do. I think WHQ squares are 1.25" or so.

Gothic Realms has all those cool traps and set pieces. This could be some fun, inspirational stuff here. And would make for some interesting Event card write ups.

Chunky D would be easier to do. Though a much longer build time and the need for alot more room. It already has the floor tile pieces for pit traps, etc. Almost like it was designed for this.

I thought just using some of the props from the sets might be easier and play better than having the walls up. Making some 3d tiles like (Click Gallery then Warhammer Pictures 1) But use WWG models and/or textures for creation. Adding multi levels and such.
And then really go out for the Objective Room Tiles. Walled areas and all. (One that comes to mind that would be extremely cool to make. 2 actually. The objective room from the Catacombs of Terror with the center ramp entrance surrounded by columns and the raised throne area in the back would be awsome to do. Also the Shamans Lair from Lair of the Orc Lord.)

There are also some compatible tiles sections from Advanced Hero Quest and Mighty Warriors(uber stripped down begginers version) that have actual dressed out rooms like the Alchemist lab, a Prison Cell, a Bed Room, and a few others like the cool looking Dwarven Forge that would be cool to remake using the WWG props.

I've not played Advanced HeroQuest yet. I hear the D12 system is actually more prefered than the D6 GW games utilize.

I'm tracking a couple on Ebay. But 90% are European and will kill me w/shipping prices.

There's an archive website that has most of the elements from WHQ available for download (yes, including rules and boards). Only the dice, figures and something to replace the archways would be necessary to replicate an entire box, should someone be so inclined. Now THAT'S called sticking it to GW!

I recently purchased Dundjinni. I was wanting to import Dennys Texture floor sets(and some props into it) so that I could print custom maps..
I have printed out some Dundjinni floor sections and filled them with WWGs props from various sets and to GREAT effect for WHQ. (Up to the point of the purchase, I've been making repeating floor textures of WWGs stuff in Photoshop and just making them patterns. Which works but is a bit slow and cumbersome at times)..


It seems to me this is a good marriage of products.
