Hmmm, I am now in the planning stages of a mixed use freighter/tanker for the B5 game. Essentially a small frieghter with a number of Pringle's cans connected by piping on the upper rear of the ship, right over the main cargo bays. Since I did up the free runabout model as a tug that was hauling one of those tanks already it seems appropriate. The thing is not going to be designed for atmospheric flight, so all that I have to worry about is the center of gravity. This is going to be one ugly ship.

The intent is to be able to shift focus from PCs on the freighter to another PC group on the station as needed. If I am in a foul mood one of the cargoes in the tanks will be hauling away the stinky stuff from the station to use in a terraforming project. (Anybody who has seen a septic tank cleaner knows what I am talking about...) A station 5 miles long produces a lot of stinky stuff... chemically stabilized and sterilized of course, not that there is any chance of the lower pipes leaking into the cargo bays... (The pipes will have an access on top of the ship for on and off loading without entering a station and internal access for on and off loading from a cargo bay.

You should look at Mel's Module::Core Primary Set for your Spacestation, I just bought it for my birthday (yester day by my time - today by yours). I picked the UCM3 version upon which you can adjust all the colours upon the structure - customising it to the max.

Plus it give a different texture look to First Light, allowing the players to get that extra level of dept out of the game.

Mel is working on the ability to stack the rooms in Module set (he had done the basic work and is now adding the flavor to the set.)

Just a thought.

I'm begining to get nervous - well I have still a lot of work to finish my FL space station but I'll be happier if I know what can I do with the expansion...I hope my Cell, Clon unit and more consoles -for the advancement photos of a long time ago - will show...but I hope there are more things that I don't expect
