Regarding matboard: You best go to Shatteredragon's huge pic files and study his work: 'guy's a genius with it. However, it is much slower and you need to work out different joining techniques; you can't just cut, score, fold and glue. You have to mount (glue) you cardstock to the matboard and cut it out from there; much more labour intensive. But Shatter is a GM and has done loads of stuff so it is possible to speed the thing up if you work at it. Me? I just fiddle around forever, printing black only, tinting and painting, embossing and adding. A pain in the butt, but I keep myself amused.
