Well...For those of you who were frightened I was going 2-D on you this new free sample should come as a relief. Once again I want to thank you for your brutal honesty and for keeping me in line

Very nice piece, Denny - thanks for the reassurance of what we can expect from the DW Exp set and also for taking the comments regarding the first sample on the chin. You know we're only brutally honest because we love your work, right?

Well because of sickness and computer problems I did not see the "Take One" version of the Altar. I will say that the "Take Two" version is.....well......Underwhelming..... NOT!!!! This is a great piece and it's free which makes it Greater than Great! What is greater than great? How about Outstanding! Rest assured that I would buy any new set you come out with and even if it was 2-D, I am sure I would have enjoyed it. Would I voice my opinion..... well yeah.... I always do, but I also know that I do not have the artistic ability to do this on my own (even the 2D stuff) so I would gladly buy someone else's hard work(i.e. Dennys').

Keep on keeping on...

WHen I saw the 2d tile. It was nice.. but average.

But the 3d?! Wow.. traditional WW qualty.. Blew me away!!

Complaints revoked...all is forgiven! Denny, the 3D altar is everything I could ask for and more!

And by the way, thanks for not taking my (and subsequent) posts too harshly. As a 2D tile, it was a darn fine one...but that's not what we've come to expect from WorldWorks, and why we keep coming back here time and again.

GREAT stuff. There'll be an Evil Altar a'printin at home tonight.

I didn't get to take a look at the first one. I oticed t had been ripped from the website in good time. (Now tht's service!) This 3D altar looks very nice! I like the step up to it a lot. This piece seem to empahsize one thing I love about the works models. 3D terrain. Often times looks better than just 3D models on a flat map. Overall this is a fine piece and I can't wait to get the expansion!

Im glad everyone likes the new set. I removed the old "Expansion" thread to avoid any confusion between this new release and the old one. I dont want new visitors to the forum confusing comments made about this release and the old version. Again I have to say I really appreciate your previous comments and I will pay close attention to the points made in future.

LOL...I'll arrange a tour of the massive complex in a month or two. I'll wait until my office is covered in half completed models to give you the full tour. Should take about 5 minutes

Will the tour highlight the airplane hanger, where you build full size dungeons and castles, photograph them, then shrink them down to tabletop size?

I knew those textures looked too real.

Very good looking stuff, Denny! I am greatly relieved to see that this is the quality of stuff I can look forward to in your next expansion. That is not to say that I wouldn't have liked you 2D tile, as I'm sure it was good. But as everyone else has mentioned - it's your 3D stuff that makes you stand out.

Will have to get this built tonight

Excelent. My group is starting a new campaign next month, and one of the first big things is the kidnapping of the barkeep's daughter.

When they get through the wine celler (Interiorworks), they'll hit the sewers (Dungeonworks...need that expansion in the next month or so darn it!

)

Well, this alter is the perfect place for them to find her. I plan on having the bad guys tramatize her...and she'll blame the PCs for not rescuing her fast enough...eventually becoming a major villian.

The alter...well that will be a perfect touch!
