I know its a Micro release but it seems to be a little.....small.
I could see a tent, the ground tile and a wall. I wouldnt pay more then 3$ for this, and even that seems high for 3 pieces.
Add a few more pieces. Maybe a few rocks and plants and it wouldnt look so expensive. Or a few more ruinparts. a column, ab beam and a brocken column so we could do a whole columnrow
Isnt it possible to add a few existing pieces (the rocks from seaworks for example) change the textures a bit and have simple fillerpieces.
I think it would be tolerable if you mentioned it "same rocks as in seaworks with overworked texture."

For me the spot is $2.50.

Depending on it's usefullness I Could go as high as $3.99 but not $4 (yes the magic of making the price look smaller by making it 1 penny off.. ). But $2.50-3.50 seems very "reasonable for what you are getting (a small product in terms of items, and pages), not so cheap that it doesn't cover costs (i hope it would at least cover the bandwidth for the downloads), and still (well at my sweet spot of $2.50) be less than a Buck a page if it is just three pages, and that price would "seem" in line with the other sets. since many of those are in the $10-$15 range but come with gobs of stuff, this smaller thing is less than $5 but still seems to follow in the flow of pricing.
With these hopefully being more frequent, being "over priced per page" as compaired to another WWG product could generate a steady trickle of income.

I like the look of the tent and the" floor tile" in this, the ruins not so much (just becuase of where both of my D&D games are now, it doesn't quit fit, but in the future it can see some great uses).

I definitely don't want to dip below $3.00 mark. Even though it's a small set the time it took to texture was pretty stiff and I want these "micro-releases" to be worth while to produce. In the end what you're paying for is the custom texture work, not the number of items included. There are a number of free solutions out there if you're just looking for models to fill the table. I was actually thinking $4.00 but I think the general consensus is $3.00. We'll go with $3.00 on this one and see how it works out

I think $4 is a fair price. Like I said, I'd have paid $5 each for 6 releases of Skull Cove, but then again, I have paid as much as $25 for resin terrain.
I like the realism of the textures and the attention to detail.

I can definitely see where you're coming from, Denny. You obviously have put a lot of beautiful textures in there. However, I do think you could spread that effort out in ways that would benefit both your customer as well as yourself better.

For example, on thing that bothers me a little about this particular set is that it's not very generic - which can ruin its chances of being useable in-game.

The biggest single culprit here is probably the red griffin image on the tent. It's beautiful, but I can't think of any RPG character in the games I've played in over the past 2-3 years who had *any* kind of emblem, let alone one so prominently displayed. So unless the DM is plannng an encounter with whomever is sleeping under that tent, this set would most likely not be used...

A better use of your time would be to provide a couple alternative tents. Heck, just having a second one without the emblem would be a big plus already! Even better would be a to have 2-3 additional tents, either just the same design with a different dirt texture, or a more traditional triangular tent. That way, the entire party can have their own tents, without looking like a bunch of clones.

I'm guessing the vast majority of your time went into texturing the ground tiles and ruined walls. Just adding a few more tents would take only a fraction of the time you've devoted to that, and it could have a huge impact on the usability of this set! Otherwise, i can guarantee you that the very first thing that will get kitbashed from this set will be a blank tent, and hardly anyone will wind up using that beautiful griffin...

$3 for the detail and quality of the above two pages, Yeah I'd buy that at $3.

At $4 it just "seems" a little steep, while it rocks and looks great compaired to other WWG stuff at $4+ it just seems to expensive...
