As a Typical Student, I dont have a permanent place to work on WWG stuff (Which is probally why I dont work on it alot). Plus in my average week I'm traveling from glasgow to edinburgh everyday (about 30-40 miles i think

) plus spending time in two different houses at opposite ends of glasgow. So my work area consists of the dining table (but only when my parents are out) or my PC table.

I dream of having a work area like Denny or SD; but then I'd also like a dedicated gaming room too.

Finally got my office cleaned up enough that I could take some pictures of my work area, oh and the bookshelf that's in the room. Once I get the area near the closet cleaned up, I'll take some pictures of the closet, which I converted into bookshelf heaven!

Anyway, the first picture is the bookshelf. Eventually, I'm going to re-organize it, because I've got to many things on it that aren't books!

Next is my actual modeling area and the first piece of my modular desk. The hutch on top is crammed full of modeling items in left hand cabinet and home paperwork in right hand one. The shelves in the middle also have lots of modeling items, the paperwork on the desk and my Pirates of the Spanish Main navy.

Sitting beside that desk is my actual work desk. It's where I acutally get things accomplished! Notice underneath the desk, the round hound bed? That's where the guard dog sleeps when he's on duty! :wink:

Finally beside that desk, is the most important desk in the office, my game computer desk! Err I mean, my inspiration computer desk, yeah, that's the ticket!

That ends this part of the tour of Skunkape's office! I'll post a picture of the outside enterance and closet area once I get it cleaned up. I might have gotten to it last Sunday except for the fact that I had to replace that door due to a bunch of squatters living in the door.

Fortunately, it doesn't look like the termites got into anything other than the door, but I'm probably going to have to get the house tented and just after my contract with Orkin ran out! Ah well, that's Murphy's law for you! :wink:

Course that just means that I'll have another 5 years to find more termites for them to come and kill! Ah the joys of living in Florida!

Now that I'm winding up work on Mars Station I took time for some quick pics of the lab.

A general view of my rig, oddly my side panel is on. Onscreen are Firefox and Winamp 2.74. Mars Station checklists taped up on the tower. On the left is the printer/scanner and a cardstock Empire State building that came from a book. Also a poster for the upcoming, horrible Doom movie. Top of the tower are my trusty Logitech flightstick and rounter. Atop the router is the Sentinel, Guardian of TEH INTERNETS.

Not showing the desk, too messy. Bits of the Station loiter in the box. Visible are my cardstock arcade, the hero version of FL, a 1:200 St. Stephen's Tower, on the wall is a cool old Jack Kirby comic I found while sorting my books. The barely visible pic is a B-17, signed by pilot Bob Schoens. And a big poster for my favourite movie.

Here they are and what fun. Many classics from the 80's, I have modded mine with edging, pins for joysticks, and a clear window for Donkey Kong. Have a blast!
