I second that one. Add some building walls that are stucco'd and have the stucco damaged so bare brick shows. Man, I could do Stallingrad for my Battleground WW2 stuff, then. Making modular walls or at least, making it fairly easy to bash big buildings from the smaller walls would allow just about anything.

Heh, I was thinking steam age stuff, but you are correct, they would work great for WW2, and I have Behind Enemy Lines from way back... I used to work for The Companions, who had the license back then, having leased it from FASA.

I agree, very good Idea, with lots of options for us builders.

I can think of two methods off hand:

A]
1) Find a WWG building you like, and open a page that has the right textures in Photoshop.
2) Cut and paste blank wall over window and door openings
3) Flatten the image and save your new blank walls.

B]
1) Find brick and stucco textures online.
2) Fire up photoshop, and create a wall the size you want to build.
3) paste in brick/stucco texture image, rotate/scale/etc to get the effect you want.
4) Flatten the image and save your new blank walls.


Voila! Custom brick or stucco walls for buildings... I made a 5-story stucco apartment building this weekend, for my "Empire of the Ants" campaign.

Wow. I was considering making my first actual scenery pack this weekend - and this was the very subject I was considering. I thought that a fairly generic type of modern scenery pack would be good. Literally, a set of mix and match walls of varying length and textures (no windows or doors - just the walls), a series of windows, doors and signs that could be cut and glued anywhere on the walls, and a few props like awnings, balconies and perhaps (if I wanted to get complicated) a fire escape.

Now, if I can just find the free time.....

It's hard to hold your breath for a whole minute, but I'm certainly not going to try holding mine until MA is released. Hopefully it'll be soon, but I don't think I could last a week

It is interesting to hear that MA could possibly be answer to many of our current wishes. Now if only we could get our hands on it... or at least some sneak preview shots...

Sorry it doesn't meet your needs, Grump but you'll note I did say "might" not "absolutely". I've been monitoring the feedback in the user review forum and I think it's great, gimme all the feedback you want, pull no punches, I'm always looking to improve things next time around.
