Sorry, you had a stated that you had a hard time finding supplies, so I was just offering some suggestions.

I think we discussed WWG brand supplies would be cool! You are right. As you said, I don't know if there would be much of profit amongst ourselves on this board or the site. I don't know. The real key would be to get it out to the hobby stores so folks see the WWG brand and hopefully that would lead to the WWG paper product. But that would be whole shift in the direction of the company and maybe putting the cart before the horse.

I know the idea has been talked about before. Its hard for a mostly-hand-to-mouth small company to do something like that, barring an outside cash infusion. The problem with carrying inventory is that you are typically required to carry that inventory up front - and that costs $$ up front as well, plus storage space. The next problem is that you have to have a competitve price to do so, and that includes shipping. To present a competitve price, you either have to take a loss on the product, or you have to order in great quantities - the former obviously isn't an option, and the latter goes back to the question of up front money. Plus there is the time to fulfill orders, ship them, cost of handling, etc.

Locally, I know that Office Max carries UHU products, and I'm pretty sure our Michael's, Hobby Lobby and even Target carry them as well. Virtually, the best place I've found to buy such supplies (even better than ebay, usually) is Viking. For UHU, for example, check here:

I can see it much more likely where Denny could work an affiliate deal with someone who carries those kind of supplies, and he gets a small cut. Viking, for example, has an affiliate program where you get a % of the sale of referred transactions. I think that would be worth the time. I order from Viking as it is (their prices and customer service are fantastic); I would certainly continue to order them, and using Denny's affiliate links, were he to set one up.
