the wave of goodness hit me as I was grinding beans for a afternoon shot () - We need beginner pack(s) for the person that thinks that they are ready for the cardstock challenge but is still sitting of the fence. This/these pack should contain no more than two or three complete build from the range. These build should contain all that is needed to finish just like in the picture. Just making sure that the builds are simple, fun and eyecatching.

I'm not sure I'd recommend the Maiden to cut your teeth on. In fact, I know I wouldn't. I'd also recommend Skull Cove, or Village Works, Arena Works or Gothic Realms as good beginner sets. They have variety, have a number of relatively easy pieces to learn on, and a few more difficult pieces as well.

The nice thing about the "collection of bits" sets is that if you make a mistake, its really no big deal (and I know I made a lot of mistakes while I was still getting the hang of the hobby) - you can reprint and redo. But on the Maiden, if you make a mistake, you can thrash hours of previous work.
