Denny, with regards to the Tall Ships, in the Maiden set, I hope we will be able to build them with/without sails deployed.  During ramming, and close-quarters combat, the masts were usually taken down, to prevent them from being snapped off!  Is this do-able?  Can we build them with removable masts for close-quarters combat?

I must admit that I wasn't very exited about Seaworks, because I thought "What would I need pirate stuff and ships for?".
But now all I can say is "Arr matey, get me my parrot. We got some looting to do."

The sheer amount and uses of items has blown me away.
The cliffs and fort will be so usefull in so many situations.
The natural stone stairs (first picture in front of the fort wall) and trees are just beautiful.
The tower that can be "clipped" on the cliffs, what a great idea.

OK, I better stop now, or I won't get enough sleep.

At the risk of being drawn and quartered I need to tell everyone that we are still a few days away from launch...

After deciding to include gridless ground tiles and to ad a few bonus items we've been forced to push the project back a tiny bit. I'm really sorry for the delay and I know how patient you've all been. We are doing everything we can to make the product the best it can be prior to launch. Paul is forgoing sleep and family to make sure we get this out as soon as possible.

Some of the product shots you have seen do NOT represent the final product. Some items have changed slightly and there are pictures coming which show other aspects of the set not included in those shots. We felt that it was important to show you our work in progress so that you could all appreciate just "how close" we are to launch.

On a related topic you might be happy to note that construction on "The Maiden of the High Seas" has begun and that this new model set will follow "The Legend of Skull Cove" in the very near future.

We're almost there! Please don't hurt us!

There's so much in the pics that could easily be used in other contexts. I _totally_ agree with the evil gem-eyed statue idea.

I especially love the palm trees and the grass - I can't wait for Paul to whip up some oaks, maples, and confiers.

I'm an RPG'r so the gridless tiles aren't so big a deal to me and my group, however, the simple fact that you are doing all this extra work based on customer feedback is awesome and truly impressive!

It's great to know that our voices are heard, even though I keep mine to myself most of the time  :)

Just out of curiosity....is it all that labor intensive to make gridless tiles?  I assume they're on their own layer?  Wouldn't you just remove that layer?

This set seems pretty ambitious.  Ya know, when it was first announced I had no idea how much work you guys were going to put into it.  I was under the impression it would be a quick release to fill space till Castleworks Ultimate.  You'll get to throw this one at the competition with a "Who Now?"  ;)
