I have been doing some kitbashes of the leanto tent from the hilltop encounter set, as well as a kitbash of the ArenaWorks tent to show how they can be altered for other uses. Here are a few that I have come up with. You can see the here, enjoy.

these look great as ussual!! Tents are so often over looked but damned usefull in a fantasy setting, would be great for wargaming as an enemy camp attack or ambush scenario!

I know, when looking at the overview picture, that the tents on the left are from VillageWorks and the lean-to on the right is from Hilltop Encounter. The "standard" looking tents on the center right just look to be two lean-tos pushed together. I don't recognize the large tent in the center left though, probably ArenaWorks as I don't have that set.

Just two new pictures for this gallery. Though the Pavilion didn't require a kitbash, it was interesting to note that the design of the feet of the legs seems like it was designed for a sandtable, ie; they don't sit flat. I built two of them, one I fixed after I had built it, the other before, I highly recommend doing it before, as after it becomes quite a trick .

Nice and sturdy looking. Are the legs simply an L, or are they a full box?

Hence the reason I love WW's for its props, they really fill out that blank null area that seems to permeate most gaming tables, and my players find many ways to incorporate the props into play. At one time that wood pile was used to trip up some guards that were chasing one of my PC's, he thought it would be a good way to slow them down, so he kicked out the supporting log, and sent them rolling downhill at the guards, nice move , he got away. That pile of wood used to be much larger, but the glue snapped and I ended up with two smaller woodpiles. The wood itself is rosewood, trimmed from a rose in our garden, the same was used to make the wood stacked on this (made by my mom while she was fiddling around). I plan on adding small bits of wood like this to the current burning firepits to make them look just a touch more realistic. I have lots more which I plan on turning into cut down trees, large log piles, etc...
