Sorry, but when a company makes as many bad decisions as Palladium has under K.S. my sympathies are limited. TSR also had some very nice people working for them - I did not go and buy games I was not interested in just to keep them afloat, in the long run those bad decisions are what killed TSR - they did not learn from past mistakes. I had much more sympathy for GDW (over investment in a single product, that they were relying on to pay back bank loans).

It is not merely that I dislike the Palladium system (though I really, really do), or that I don't like the players of the game (clannish, at least locally - solated, but not bad folks). I don't like GURPS either (though not to the same extent), and dislike many of the local players (more the players than the game in this case), but Steve Jackson himself did not go out of his way to torpedo his own company, and owned up when he made mistakes. (Mistakes that almost killed Steve Jackson Games - which was then followed by the infamous Secret Service incident.)

Sorry, I will spend my money on companies that I have a little more respect for.
