Conaill, I don't know yet whether the Maiden will have sail variants available, but if you perchance to have Legend of Skull Cove, there are multiple different sails for the various ships presented therein, and those might well be able to be substituted in for some of the smaller sails of the Maiden.

Oh yes...and for PaperCut's sake, also remember that Legend of Skull Cove has the giant octopi tentacles too...and shark fins. Lots and lots of shark fins!

Denny - that rules. Thats all I have to say. I'm not big on gushing praises, but the Maiden is damn pretty. Its worth having even if its not used for gaming. Just a terrific model.

I took a hint from Blackthorn there and put the stern-view shot as my wallpaper. My wife saw it, fell in love with it, and now wants to help build it! She's never modelled in her life nor shown much interest in my modelling so far. Was shaking her head at me while I cut 'n pasted 'n muttered to myself over other sets. Ha!

I'll get her involved in gaming yet! More than one way to skin a cat.

I just wanted to thank everyone for being so incredibly patient with me on this release. There were a couple of bugs to work out and I didn’t want the Maiden shipping without getting her as close to perfect as possible. I also needed some time for a last minute inclusion or two (like battle damage transparencies).

She's a little file heavy, weighing in at about 64.9 mb's zipped but trust me...its not all bloat. There is a lot of value in there for $15.00 and this could quite possibly be our most popular release to date (once word spreads a bit…at least that’s the hope). The set could potentially have a broad appeal to not only gamers but nautical enthusiasts and model junkies alike. At any rate “The Maiden” is officially complete and on her way to RPGNow. Here's hoping we don't need to release a patch of any kind I’m just finishing up the flash presentation so it shouldn’t be long now.

Unbelievable. I've never been into the naval genre, but after seeing the Maiden, my mind is filled with ideas for how I could put it to use. What you've accomplished is truly amazing, Denny, and I agree that it looks too good to be paper.

I'll definitely be buying it come next week's pay day. Even if I never use it in a game, it would just be cool to put it together.

As far as paper models go the Maiden officially takes the "Coolest Thing I Have Ever Seen" prize.

And here we were squawking about release dates. I can't wait to get her into my game.
