I actually made this a few months ago, and was amazed to discover that a. I still owned it, and b. it was still intact... It served as the centerpiece for a WARMACHINE battle today.

Fence - Pen (Alternately you can use the Stockade Walls from the Sea Works Fort, for my tastes they were a bit too tall.)
Flat Top Building
No Grid Masterboard
Fixings - Door

0. Glue the Masterboard to a piece of foam core cut to fit. Do not glue the edges.

1. Place an extra door on the Flat Top building, so that it is not on the same wall as the one that is printed on the wall.

2. (Optional) If you want to have braces on the flat topped building then glue the braces to the corners of the building, on the side away from the main door, running at a 45 degree angle.

3. Measure the Flat Top building and two of the Pen Fence sections against the length of the Arena Masterboard section, trimming the Fence sections to fit. Allow about a quarter of an inch extra - you will be using that quarter inch to glue the fence to the building later. Make sure that each fence keeps the flap along the edge that will be to the outer corner of masterboard.

3a. On the other side measure two Pen Fence sections and the Pen Fence Gate section against the Masterboard, again trimming to fit, and again leaving the outer flaps. The central section (the one with the door) will keep both flaps. Do the same with the short edges of the Masterboard, leaving out the door section of the Pen Fence.

4. Mount the crane on top of the Flat top building.

5. Glue them both to the Masterboard, covering over the ribcage (unless you want a body that has been lying under a scrap metal pile for goodness knows how long ), with the side with the main door running along the long edge of the Masterboard, leaving enough space on either side for the trimmed down Pen Fence walls.

6. Glue the Pen Fence sections to each other, tuck the remaining flaps into the neighboring fence sections, sandwich style.)

7. Glue the Pen Fence wall to the Masterboard, folding one of the ground flaps into the yard, the other tucks under the edge of the Masterboard, and glued between the Masterboard and the foamcore, securing to both. Glue to the side of the Flat Top building.

8. (Optional) With a word processor or graphics program you can make a sign to glue on the fence. The one on mine reads Grot-Grubs Industrial Salvage.

9. Fill the scrap yard with scrap. I used bits of plastic painted to look like rusting metal, but if you have appropriate cardstock bits then they will work just fine.
