Sorry to keep bumping this, but I think it may be of some use to others with a Pixma iP3000 as I did a search and found I'm not the only one that this has happened to. I pulled out an old print of a CWU wall when the printer WAS working correctly and compared to what I had adjusted to. It was very close, but a single +/- on any color does make a lot of difference to the output and now I have it just about perfect in my mind. If you can, have at least one page printed professionaly or by someone with a perfectly functional printer and adjust from there. Now that everything is in order again, I should HOPEFULLY get some pics of my work!
Oh, and that eBay seller that I bought from? FANTASTIC. The ink is spot on and matches the official Canon to my amateur artist's eye. I was afraid of non-named ink, but not anymore. Considering it was $1.63 per cartridge SHIPPED, I'm excedingly happy.
