Without basing it on any backboard that is a very clean build DAMiGG, I love the portal set and once I got printer ink the last time around it was the first set I built (though modified as always). The portal is one of my favorite sets and I love seeing it built as much as new Maidens. Very cool build, can't wait to see more, I love the pictures that are building in the photo gallery, the more the better the word can spread to all terrain lovers out there, keep em coming DAMiGG , in no time you'll catch up to Deathreaver999 and myself .

Rofl, sorry for being a bit unclear, you've built it correctly, as Denny intended it. In fact it looks just like it does in the advertisement pics that Denny did, which is a compliment indeed. As to the basing, I wasn't refering to the base itself but the portal, I am one of the few, like DR999, or Curt Voiles (as well as a few others) that is insane eneogh to add a basing to the actual portal itself (though as far as I know I'm the only one that has). If your still not sure what I'm refering to, just peruse my pics, the portal I made is in my gallery, but as I said I'm insane, lol. I am one who doesn't like warpage at all and so I don't stick strictly to cardstock. I base mine on matboard, as do a few others, and still others yet do theirs on foamcore.

When I saw this thread, I was going to mention your build Shatteredragon, but I see you've already done that. Great build DAMiGG, but I also like Shatteredragon's as well.

I'm going to build a foamcore version as you mentioned Shatteredragon. Not exactly sure when I'm going to get to it, but I know I'll be looking at your picts when I do build it!

The current portal build that I have has a water tile that I use along with it, also inspired by Shatteredragon's build, but mine just uses pieces of tape to hold it on, right now!
