OK, first go at WWG stuff, and start with useless card!!

Got some 150gsm and when I got home noticed faint lines across the card. As I printed the Caveworks stuff out I noticed the colours were heavily faded and the black areas had a lot of blotchiness and white spots (look at the columns in the piccy above). Later on, after printing out a whole batch of the stuff, I managed to find much better card (200 gsm) and got much better results. I was actualy worried it was a printer problem....... *phew* just a card problem!!

What you see on the battle report is just a test set of terrain. I'll add a bit more to it to have a larger area, but the next set (proper set) will be on the better card and will be a lot sharper and vivid!

Not matter what your using your build looks sweet. Also think of the experience you gained by doing this layout - without wasting good card!

But yes, I did find it useful so that when I do the 'proper' set I will be able to construct and build faster and better.

One thing I did find I had to do was insert polystyrene into the risers for them to support the weight of the Dark Age miniatures........ no plastic figures there...... all metal baybeeeeee!!!

I'll be doing an Ice Cavern set using the better card, but still deciding whether to give my other WWG pack "Mars Station" a go first. The Ice Cavern will probably be the one I use at our local convention GAMECON to demo Dark Age in December, so may wait a while before doing that so the stuff has less chance of damage.
