I'd be willing to pay up to $20 for 3 designs included in the set.

1st design > a clean "military" looking pod that will hold a squad (5-7 troops of 28-30mm mini's) Something that would be build by the US with clean lines, etc.

2nd design > a "chaos" or dirty pod that looks goth. Similar to what others offer.

3rd design > an alien drop pod that would hold larger mini's (since 'Nids ain't small).
Definate organic look and feel for this one, maybe even being a creature itself with eyes and the mouth is where the mini's enter and exit.

I have Mel's dropship and that is a true drop ship. What I'm suggesting is actual PODS. No real way to control flight other than slowing down so the items inside don't turn to goo on impact.

A drop pod would be cool, and I might even buy it, but I prefer the drop ship idea where each armored trooper gets his/her own drop capsule ala Starship Troopers the book/Avalon Hill game!

While I think drop capsules are useful and small unit gameable, I really prefer the dropship, landing craft approach ala StarFist books. But I will buy drop capsules of any bent.

I hadn't seen anyone post this, but you can DL plans for a high detailed GW style drop pod at this yahoo group. (you'll need to sign up and it's in the Files > Card Vehicles > Warhammer 40k > DropPod section) I'm very fond of the finished model...

I've already killed those textures and I'm reworking them. It is going to be about a foot tall. This is going to be one of three dropships that are egg shape. Then I plan on two dropships that are more spaceship in design.

This is not my design but I changed the textures to my tastes. It needs to be twice as big, which means I'll have to make some kind of interior supports for it.

After reading this post I felt I needed to post on this subject. I love the Drop ship BTW Highland. How long did it take you to finish it? I'm an old school BT player and loved the pictures.

I wanted to speak about the piracy issue for a moment. I can’t speak facts or figures as this is not my business but I don't think the price for a kit will discourage someone from pirating but more of the person. If someone is going to steal your work then the cost in my opinion is not the issue. If you continue to offer quality products at an affordable price and continue to be honest with folks like you have you will continue to build your community like I’ve been reading on the forums here. WOW I have a lot of post to read up on. If I've seen nothing else here it’s a very tight community of moders and modelers that have a lot of interest in WWG and its future. Continue to keep on keeping on Denny and WWG will continue to be successful.

I think WWG may have some opportunities with terrain and models for both WH 40K and WH Fantasy. I don’t play much anymore due to work issues but when I was the cost of terrain alone cost big $$$. If I had a way of putting quality pieces on the table without costing $30-$50 I would jump all over it. I have made a lot of stuff myself but buying supplies and paint still was high and time consuming.

I wish the best for WWG and hope to continue to see the awesome quality products in 2007. I really hope you expand on the 2D tiles.
