CapnG, if it wasn't for your outstanding work on the PCON set I couldn't have been able to create these kit bashes and builds. Yes, I am using the WWG kits to understand how the folds work. The tower was created by using the wood tower from Skull Cove as a template. I still would like to create a center building for the command post but nothings come to me yet. I've about ran out of ideas for kit bashes for the PCON set.

Deathreaver999, thanks for the compliment, but these kit bashes are just for fun, my work isn't original. I just change the WWG kits around. I'm happy just to be able share my work with everyone at WWG.

Shatterdragon, yes I did blow it again. I was trying to link to the individual gallery's instead of just one photo. Next week I'll clean up my mess I created. I do appreciate you letting me know about my link problem.

Highland Piper, Impressive Mecks, I think your repair station idea is just another example of the creative use for the PCON Station. Good luck on the build and don't forget photos.

Steve, thanks for the compliment, but from your posts on the web site it sounds like you've been busy building terrain. I went to checkout your gallery. No can find. I'm sure you have some great builds to share with the rest of us. I'm always amazed at how creative and talented everyone is in this community.

My buildings are all about having fun and challenging myself.

Ha ha ha. You are a funny guy Curt. Me . . . take piccys and post anything? I would, if I can stay focused on one thing long enough to make a dent. My problem is I like too many hobby related things. I'm currently working on, in no particular order:

Wild West skirmish gaming (researching weapons of the wild west, so as to have more than just "revolver, rifle and shotgun" as options. Taking the initial items from Knuckledusters Firearms SHop book and gathering more info, cross-referencing it with four other books for accuracy.

Clearing my workbench to paint up a pile of Alien Greys, so they can "Akk, akk, akk we come in peace" while destroying everything in their path.

This requires that they land in a spacecraft, which Mel was so kind to make available after I asked a very innocent question on his forum about anyone having seen a cardstock flying saucer, so that gives me a flying saucer to construct. For some stupid reason, I just can't shake the idea of a few bits of wire, a battery, and a switch being nestled inside, to power the light so that the "saucer lights" can actually work. Flashing lights would be cooler though. I don't really NEED something like that on my to-do list, but I can't shake the visual image. So Radio Shack is on my list the next time I head to town. If it's too costly to do, I'll drop it in a heartbeat. But I need to know before I can drop it.

It's gotta land somewhere, so my Mayhem city is coming together. In the past for smaller games, I printed out the streets and taped them together on the back to form a map. But what I really needed to do was build a proper masterboard with velcro (don't care for the Linx).

Using pegboard for greater strength, plus the holes spaced at 1" apart mean I can easily see where little squares of velcro need to be placed. My initial effort is to place velcro every 7" and only have velcro in the corners of my street tiles. I now have 40 street tiles to use with my 6 tile x 6 tile pegboard. And another 10 awaiting cutting out (I'm using spray adhesive - outside when it isn't raining - for the first time, and it's working great).

I already mentioned in another thread that I wanted to place buildings on patches of concrete, rather than have buildings fixed as 7x7 squares. I want alleys between buildings and wider sidewalks. So I had to kitbash my own concrete tiles out of the sidewalks from Streets. Also kitbashed the straight street to remove the four bits of trash, and then created different versions to have only 1 bit of trash, so I have 6 different straight sections now ranging from no trash to all 4 trash.

Since I don't care about building interiors, my buildings for Mayhem started out as "another" companies. With BoM and the flats I could start to make my own from the superior WWG textures. And of course, with BoM Downtown, I can now make even more and better building flats.

I've thought about taking a few photos and creating a gallery but shots of my city currently include mostly buildings from that other line. Doesn't seem kosher to post those photos here

The bulk of my time is being spent on Mayhem at present, so I'm making good progress. Of course, now that I've logged a few miles with this stuff, I've come to decide that building the flats on foamcore makes them way more sturdy, so that's my new added project, make 12 more buildings, all on foamcore. Which means more time to cut out bits and glue them together before actually gluing the cardstock flats.

Oh ... and somebody had some cool shots of a game using Mayhem streets and Hellmites from Heresy. That forced me to buy a fistful of Hellmites ... those photos looked so cool. Now to assemble and paint those little critters ...

Purchased and layed my first game of Occult Wars (a zombie fighting slugfest between survivors and a street full o' zombies) and wrote up a review of their game in two parts to give them. Part 1 was the rules themselves (did that and they have already added it to their website). Part 2 is still being written (and that cover the game in action, on the streets of Mayhem.

I could go on.

Too many interests, hard to keep focused on just one thing. But seeing works such as yours inspire me to stick with it! I would love to have a gallery that showed off my pitiful skills as a construction engineer
