So as I await the next WWG release, I thought I might save up some money and purchase a colour laser printer. For those of you who use this type of printer, what model do you use and how well does the printer perform?

In case anyone wonders/cares, I just finshed setting up an HP Colour LaserJet 2600n next to my monitor here.

Testing with the stone floor tile shows that the vertical measuremeant is 1/16" shy of 7". The horizontal is a perfect 8" however. So I STILL have issues with getting a perfect 7" tile...sigh

Interesting...I just printed a parking lot tile from Streets of Mayhem and it is 7" square.

Ah well...I will just have to make do.

I have the (significantly cheaper than the n) HP2550L at home, been using it like mad for over a year and the ink is still making jokes at me (the kind of joke where the original cartridges have been technically empty for months and are still gushing out hundreds of pages without a complaint -- my "new" catridges might be out of awarranty by the time I crack them open!).

No upgrade of any sort, using a slow USB 1.1 connection (computer, not printer, is the problem), it's a great investment.

Apparently the newer model (26xx) is even better, and has an internal paper tray (which the 2550L lacks).

Go for it, laser is wonderful. And waterproof.
