And I now have a trashless corner piece as well, doubling the number of curved pieces.

Something else I did with the curved piece, since I prefer using the 1" grid to aid movement for some games, the curved corner with the concrete lines curving as well was distracting. I lost the square grid because of the curved lines. So I removed those decorative curved lines, leaving only the square concrete lines.

I must say I've been having fun messing around with the excellent textures provided by WWG! I actually kitbashed a kitbash the other day, when I removed the yellow lines from the paved-to-dirt tile.

Wow, just noticed that I didn't say how much I like this set! I really, really do by the way! Promise to take pictures and post them of the current project I'm working on for this once it's done!

Velco tabs can be recessed into the foamcore base of the ground tiles just like hidden linx if desired to correct any slight height difference. For securing ground tiles you can make a recessed corner cut in each ground tile to accomodate the hook and fuzz parts about 1" by 1" or sized to fit your velcro. When assembled you can use a fuzz piece just large enough to engage all the surrounding tiles. The fuzz pieces can be aligned on a masterboard for increased rigidity.

For buildings or walls or other terrain items, I prefer to use small bits of thin Blu-Tack which holds really well during even a long gaming session. For large pieces that are seldom removed from the base tiles Liquid Tape is even more lasting but still removable.

And a final suggestion for any item that needs to be repeatedly added or removed from a board (though I don't have an example right now) would to be adding a hidden rare-earth magnet under the ground tile and a matching magnet in the removable piece.
